Title: Maple algorithms for computing lumps to PDEs

Abstract: This is a tutorial on computing lump solutions to partial differential equations via Maple. Based on the Hirota bilinear formulation and the Bell polynomial theory, a general characterization on the existence of lump solutions in general dimensions will be presented. Maple symbolic computation algorithms will be discussed for computing lumps to integrable wave equations in both (2+1)-dimensions and (3+1)-dimensions.

TitleIntegrable deformed spatial discrete modified KdV equation with nonholonomic constraint

Abstract: In this talk, a spatial discretization of the integrable deformed mKdV equation with nonholonomic constraint is investigated. The integrability of the discrete model is confirmed by showing the existence of Lax pair, Darboux transformations and multi-solitons. The theory of the system including Lax pair, Darboux transformations and explicit solutions systematically yields their continuous counterparts in the continuouslimit. Finally, under the reduction, the deformed model gives an integrable discretization of the combined mKdV and Sine-Gorden equation.
