报告摘要：What happens if the shear flow is disturbed by small disturbances? In this talk, I will present recent progress in stability in fluid motions. Three important phenomena (inviscid damping, vorticity depletion and enhanced dissipation) as well as our new mathematical methods will be introduced in my talk.
报告人简介：赵威任，2011年毕业于浙江大学，博士毕业后先后在北京大学和纽约大学阿布扎比分校从事博士后研究工作。现在在纽约大学阿布扎比分校担任助理教授。其主要研究方向包括：流体动力学方程的自由边值问题和流体稳定性问题。
