摘要：Iteration, repeating the same, is a simple behavior but important in the era of informatics and artificial intellegience. However, great difficulties arise from its nonlinearity. This talk explains how it converts some simplicity to complexity and how it may simplify some complexity. This talk surveys recent advances on iteration and fractional iteration and further introduces advances on several classes of iterative equation. Related topics on embeddability of discrete dynamical systems and input-to-state stability of continuous dynamical systems are also involved.
个人简介：张伟年，四川大学数学学院教授、博士生导师。1984年毕业于北京大学数学系，1987年获中国科学院数学硕士学位，并于1990年获北京大学数学博士学位，研究方向为微分方程与动力系统。1990-1997年先后担任中国科学院成都计算所助研、副研究员、研究员。1997年起先后任四川大学教授、博士生导师、二级教授。1994年获中国青年科技奖，2002年获第四届“高校青年教师奖”，2008年获国家杰出青年基金，2009年获国家教学成果二等奖，2018年获教育部自然科学一等奖。
