摘要：In this talk, I will introduce two kinds of periodic orbit problems, i.e., closed geodesics on manifolds and closed characteristics on hypersurfaces in $R^{2n}$. And I will also explain how the Maslov-type index theory has been applied to do with these problems.
报告人简介：段华贵，教授、博士生导师，南开大学数学科学学院副院长。“南开大学百名青年学科带头人培养计划”入选者。研究方向包括： 动力系统、非线性分析，周期解的多重性与稳定性。主要从事哈密顿系统中的闭轨道与微分几何中的闭测地线的研究。2007年博士毕业于南开大学陈省身数学研究所，先后访问过美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学和意大利的里雅斯特国际理论物理中心，在J. Differential Geom、J. Funct. Anal. 、Calc. Var. & PDEs.、J. Differential Equations等国际著名杂志上发表数十篇学术论文。
报告题目2：Linear vs nonlinear selection in monostable problems: decay rate and spreading speed

摘要：In this talk, we will discuss the relation between linear determinacy and the decay rate of travelling wave solutions. We will also show a sufficient and necessary condition to detertime the propagation speed of weak-strong type competition systems.
报告人简介：周茂林博士，现为南开大学陈省身数学研究所特聘研究员，2009年于南开大学本科毕业，2014年于东京大学获博士学位，导师为国际分析学家Hiroshi Matano教授，2017年获澳大利亚自然科学基金委担任DECR特任研究员，2019年****项目获得者。周茂林博士的研究领域为抛物方程和特征值问题，在Ann. Inst. Henri Poincare Anal. Non Lineaire、J. Math. Pures Appl.、Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.、Indiana Univ. Math.、J. Func. Anal.等国际期刊发表论文20余篇。
报告题目3：Minimal symmetric period problem for P-symmetric brake orbits in Hamiltonian systems

摘要： In this talk, we will introduce an iteration inequality for P-symmetric brake orbits with certain cyclic orthogonal symplectic matrix P. As application, we will study the minimal symmetric period problem for P-symmetric brake orbits in super quadratic reversible P symmetric Hamiltonian systems. This is a joint wok with Xiaorui Li.
报告人简介：张端智，南开大学数学科学学院教授，博士生导师。主要从事的研究方向为非线性分析与辛几何，哈密顿系统。国家优秀青年基金获得者，研究成果主要发表在Comm. Pure Appl. Math，Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré Anal. Non Linéaire，J. Differential Equation，Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations，DiscreteContin.Dyn.Syst. London Math. Soc.等国际数学刊物上。

报告人简介：孙玉华，南开大学数学学院副教授，博士生导师，2008年本科毕业于吉林大学数学学院，2012年和2014年分别在清华大学和德国比勒菲尔德大学数学系获得博士学位，2014年进入南开大学数学学院工作。研究方向为黎曼流形上的分析，包括流形上的椭圆及抛物方程，在包括CPAM，JFA, Math. Annalen, CVPDE等国际著名期刊发表学术论文近20篇。
